Xavier University of Louisiana Student Wellness fosters an environment that supports and advances students’ well-being, in all its dimensions, through innovative programs, opportunities for self-discovery and growth. Wellness Education
Wellness Education provides holistic health and education programming for Xavier students.
- Provide wellness programming and education.
- Provide educational programming on mental health, substance abuse/addiction/suicide prevention/STI Awareness and prevention, physical health and fitness, body image and self-esteem/health disparities/holistic wellness
- Advise peer health educators
- Advise Project KD programming from peer health educators to empower students on campus
These services enable the university to accomplish its mission to provide each student with a liberal and professional education experience...for the ultimate purpose of helping to create a more just and humane society.
