Welcome you to BS in Robotics & Mechatronics Engineering Program at Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Robotics and Mechatronics program is designed to address the demand for modern engineers to be educated in an area that is multi-disciplinary in nature. Most of the current applications of robotic and mechatronic systems include areas that serve humankind such as assistive and medical devices, Advanced industrial automation and manufacturing, search and rescue missions in dangerous and, protection from attacks, replacing human workers in hazardous and extreme environments, developing autonomous cars, Internet of thing (IOT) through advanced mechanisms, software, and engineering technologies, etc. Training students who will serve humanity by working in some of these areas fit very well with Xavier university mission. This program fits in very well with Xavier’s student-centered mission for excellence in undergraduate education. The university is home to the Computer Science, Physical Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, and Dual degree Engineering program Click Here for more information.

The dual degree program integrates theoretical and practical knowledge from, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Civil and Environment, Chemical, Biomedical, Computer Science & Engineering to provide our students with our cutting-edge degree for our fastest-growing technology-driven engineering economy. Most of our graduates join major national and multinational corporations as well as continue their postgraduate studies in top-ranked universities.
