Hours of Operation
Violence Prevention Education and Advocacy is open Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm throughout the calendar year with the exception of university holidays. Please email jbodnar@xula.edu to schedule an appointment.

After Hours, Weekends and University Closings
In case of an emergency outside of normal business hours, on weekends and university holidays, call the Xavier University Police Department for on campus emergencies at 504-520-7490 or 911 for off campus emergencies. Please note, the Xavier University Police Department is not a confidential resource.

If you need to speak with a mental health professional, please call the Department of Counseling and Wellness Services at 504-520-7315.

 If you would like to file a report with the university about sexual misconduct, email titleix@xula.edu. 

 

 

 

For non-emergency assistance, call Violence Prevention Education and Advocacy at 504-520-7503 and leave a message or email jbodnar@xula.edu.  Staff will follow up when they are back in the office.

If you need emergency confidential assistance outside of normal business hours, including information about free medical services following a sexual assault, please contact The New Orleans Family Justice Center’s 24 hour crisis hotline at (504) 866-9554 or visit their website at https://www.nofjc.org/.
