X-ncubator

The X-ncubator is a small business incubator for students of Xavier University of Louisiana.  It’s an innovative educational learning laboratory and a program of the Xavier’s Entrepreneurship Institute, designed to inspire and educate students interested in entrepreneurship.  Participating student business owners develop business ideas with the assistance of Xavier faculty and business professionals.

Current Xavier students are eligible to apply. Students are admitted on a rolling basis and must demonstrate adequate progress to remain in the X-ncubator. Also, they are required to participate in programs designed to increase the chances for entrepreneurial success.

The X-ncubator provides the following to student entrepreneurs:

• Management assistance;
• Webinars and workshops on topics related to starting and operating a profitable business;
• Mentoring from business professionals;
• A stipend for members who demonstrate a commitment to launching and operating their businesses;
• Networking and connection to the national entrepreneurial community, including investors;
• Support in preparing for business plan and pitch competitions.
• Access to meeting rooms
