Xavier University of Louisiana College of Pharmacy was established in 1927 for the purpose of educating blacks and other minority students to become highly trained professionals and leaders in the field of pharmacy. The College of Pharmacy offers the entry-level Pharm.D. degree as the only academic program and has over 600 students in the professional program.
