Office of Campus Ministry

Welcome to the Campus Ministry. The Office of Campus Ministry welcomes and attends to the sacramental and pastoral concern of the entire University community through a variety of programs and activities on spiritual life, fellowship, community building and social justice outreach. We foster the growth of the whole human person through spiritual development, religious education and continuing faith formation with an awareness of the cultural traditions that deepens our faith experiences. We support the development of emergent leaders shared by religious and moral values for leadership and service for others.

Campus Ministry Brochure

“If we wish to serve God and love our neighbor well, we must manifest our joy in the service we render to Him and them. Let us open wide our hearts. It is joy which invites us. Press forward and fear nothing.”  - St. Katharine Drexel

Mission

Xavier’s Office of Campus Ministry is a home for all students of all faiths. Our goal is to help students, faculty, and staff foster spiritual growth through fellowship, reflection, community service, prayer, and worship.

Campus Ministry Staff includes lay and religious individuals who facilitate on and off-campus retreats, organize volunteer outings, and work with the Xavier community to equip and lead their lives into a deeper meaning, belonging, and purpose.

While Xavier is the only Historically Black and Catholic University in the Western Hemisphere, we strive to create a commitment of solidarity by encouraging interreligious collaboration.
