Xavier University’s own Blair Dottin-Haley of The Blairisms has returned to his alma mater to host a star-studded edition of his digital talk show, the Savage Chat Series, during Xavier’s Homecoming week, which runs November 3-7. Gold Table Talks will take place 3-5 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, and will feature interviews with actors T.C. Carson (Living Single) and Charnele Brown (A Different World), who both played beloved characters on hit ‘90s sitcoms.

Dottin-Haley set out to showcase the impact of Black representation in media and culture. Audience members are allowed the opportunity to be face to face with the artists who influenced them.

"Charnele Brown's portrayal of Kim Reese has impacted this generation of Black people who pursued a medical profession or any career for that matter. This is why it was so important to have T.C. Carson and Charnele Brown come to Xavier University of Louisiana's homecoming to dive deep on the importance of representation in culture and community,” said Dottin-Haley.

T. C. Carson and Charnele Brown will both be presented with a Proclamation from the City of New Orleans.
