Black Male Initiative

The Black Male Initiative is dedicated to empowering and supporting Black male students as they navigate their academic and personal journeys. Our goal is to provide a network of mentorship, resources, and opportunities that foster personal growth, academic excellence, and leadership development.

Service Saturdays

Xavier University’s research programs extend beyond campus and into the Greater New Orleans area.

Our Health & Wellness Center, part of the Center for Minority Health and Health Disparities Research and Education, is committed to improving community health by providing education, medication therapy management and screening services to people with chronic illness-related health care needs.

The Health & Wellness Center also engages community members in research designed to eliminate related health disparities.
