Dr. Reynold Verret, President of Xavier University of Louisiana, will join speakers and participants from around the state to explore innovations for a healthy state on September 13 at the Hilton Riverside in New Orleans. 

The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®), the leading multimedia peer-reviewed journal dedicated to issues in managed care, is the host of an Institute for Value-Based Medicine® (IVBM) in partnership with Ochsner Health, where President Verret will join speakers and participants from various backgrounds to explore healthy-state innovations. The “Population Health Innovations for a Healthy State” event, scheduled from 4:30-8:25 p.m. CST, is designed to share strategies to help local health care professionals improve the health of Louisiana. President Verret will speak during the “Building the Healthcare Workforce with a Health Equity Framework” discussion.
