
Xavier University of Louisiana Professor of Chemistry Navneet Goyal, Ph.D., has been named a 2026 Fellow of the American Chemical Society (ACS), one of the highest honors bestowed by the organization.
Dr. Goyal is among 59 scientists selected for the 2026 class of ACS Fellows. The distinction recognizes ACS members who have demonstrated outstanding achievements and made significant contributions to science, the chemistry profession and the Society. His selection places him among an accomplished group of scientists representing universities, national laboratories, and leading organizations across the United States and internationally.
The 2026 Fellows will be formally celebrated during ACS Fall 2026 in Chicago.
Dr. Goyal serves as a professor in Xavier’s Department of Chemistry, where his recognition further reflects the University’s longstanding tradition of excellence in the sciences and commitment to developing the next generation of scientists and health professionals.
