XULA Hurricane Preparedness Guide

Each year, hurricane season lasts from June 1st to November 30th. As a city on the Gulf Coast, New Orleans regularly experiences tropical weather and is at a higher risk for hurricanes. Dangers from these storms include high winds, heavy rain, tornadoes, flooding, and power outages. It’s important to make a plan in case a storm comes our way.
