Gospel Concert Extravaganza

Xavier University of Louisiana will conclude its Centennial Homecoming celebration with an afternoon of faith, music, and coummunity during the Gospel Concert Extravaganza featuring gospel music legend Yolanda Adams on Sunday, November 9, from noon to 4 p.m. in the Convocation Center, 7900 Stroelitz St., New Orleans.

The event begins with a brunch and features performances by alumni and student members of the Xavier Gospel Choir, uniting generations of Xavierites in joyful praise and reflection on a century of faith and excellence. Yolanda Adams, a four-time Grammay Award-winning artist known for her extraordinary voice and inspirational music that transcends genres, will aslo perform. With 15 albums, multiple Dove Awards, NAACP Image Awards, Stellar Gospel Awards, and BET Awards, Adams has become one of the most celebrated and influential voices in gospel music.
