The Office of Event Management is responsible for facility rental sales and event coordination for non-Xavier University events.
Host your next event at Xavier! Located just minutes from downtown New Orleans, Xavier University has the perfect venue to host your special event. Whether it’s a wedding, sporting event, concert, graduation ceremony, or anything in between, we have a venue for you with multiple set-up configurations available to accommodate your specific event needs.

Our 97,000 square-foot, 3,937 seat multi-purpose facility is recognized as one of the finest facilities of its size with state-of-the-art sound, lighting, and high-definition Daktronics video boards for spectator comfort . It includes a hospitality suite, a student-athlete fitness center, a media/video room, theatre-style meeting space, and a state-of-the-art athletic training facility. A great athletic/entertainment venue to host your concert, sporting event, trade show/exhibit, graduation ceremony, large private party, Mardi Gras crew party, prom or sports practice.
This academic building located adjacent to the Convocation Center has reception and meeting space. Host your next meeting, intimate social gathering, entertainment green room, or movie production craft services in this venue.
The main sanctuary seats 430 guests. Directly adjacent to the main sanctuary is a 40-seat day chapel. Other rooms include work and vesting sacristies, a reconciliation room and a conference room. Beautiful space for your wedding! Our chapel is also available to host funerals and memorial services.
