Md Ashad Alam, Ph.D., holds a PhD in Statistical Machine Learning and completed postdoctoral research in multi-omics and imaging genetics at Tulane University. He has over 13 years of university-level teaching experience in statistics, data science, and machine learning across the United States and Bangladesh. At Tulane, he served as Graduate Program Co-Director, leading the development of MS- and PhD-level Biomedical Health Informatics programs within the School of Medicine. In 2023, he joined Ochsner Health as a Senior Health Informatics Researcher, where he focuses on longitudinal disease trajectories and AI-driven cancer prediction using real-world data.
