Dr. St. Julien teaches courses in XCOR (Freshman Foundations), World, U.S., and post-1945 U.S. history and teaches thematic courses on global commodities exchanges. Her research focuses on 1970s U.S. politics, culture, modern conservatism, and race. Her Ph.D. project studies the early-1970s creation of political narratives centered of black socio-economic success and their impact on federal antipoverty policy.
