Xavier Continues to be Recognized for Excellence


“The Best 387 Colleges” by the Princeton Review, now in its 30th year of publication, showcases the highest-ranked colleges and universities for undergraduate academics.  Both the U.S. News Best Colleges rankings and the Princeton Review Best Colleges Guide are designed to offer expert advice, accolades, and data for incoming students to use during their selection process. 

Xavier is listed highly among several categories, including: 

  • #15- “Best Regional Universities- South,” 
  • #7- “Most innovative- Regional Universities South,”
  • #9“Best Undergraduate Teaching- Regional Universities South.”

These announcements came as Xavier was recovering from the damage caused by Hurricane Ida, and is a testament to the resilience and excellence of the University. Despite some physical damage to Xavier’s campus from the storm, the Xavierite community has already returned eagerly to learning through remote instruction. Even in the midst of restoration and rebuilding efforts, Xavier is still recognized as a remarkable institution.
