Twin sisters Jordyn and Morgan Jackson have just earned their Bachelor’s degree from Xavier University of Lousiana. In 2018, the Jackson sisters graduated from North Houston Early Collegewith a high school diploma and Associate degree at the age of 17. Now, at 20-years-old, the twins are ready to start the next phase of their career. On May 8th, Jordyn obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Morgan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications.

Gabriella Cotton, a rising junior at Xavier majoring in Public Health, recently completed the Lamar Governor’s Fellowship Program. Gabriella and twelve other students from Louisiana colleges were chosen for the program out of hundreds of applicants by Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards following a rigorous application process.

Xavier students Gabriella Cotton, Taylor Huff, and Bethani Thomas were announced as “Servant Leader Scholars” and presented with scholarship checks in the amount of $2,500 per scholar from The Links, Incorporated on Monday. The Links, Incorporated, is an international, not-for-profit corporation focused on enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.
