To secure housing, you must submit your initial housing deposit of $100 if you are in incoming first-year students and complete the housing application. If housing has been assigned to you, Residential Education will send your official move-in information through your XULA email address.
Before entering into their sophomore year or transfer students, please note that all students must pay an accumulated total of $300. Upon graduation or departure from housing, students can request $200 of the deposit by completing a housing cancellation form in the Office of Residential Education, located in the University Center Room 305. Emails will not be accepted.

At Xavier, freshmen receive priority for on-campus housing, but it is not required to live on campus. Transfer students may request housing, but it is not guaranteed. If you are interested in living on-campus, apply early to optimize your chance of being placed in a preferred living area.
** Please note all incoming residential students are required to pay an additional $200 prior to February 1st to be able to apply for housing for the next Fall Academic Year**
