About the Writing Resource Center
The Writing Resource Center offers 30 minute one-on-one tutoring sessions. If tutors are available, we will work with walk-in students, but we strongly encourage you to call ahead (504-520-6282) to set up an appointment—this guarantees you will be helped by a tutor at a time of your choosing.

Schedule: Fall/Spring hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 6:00 pm.
Hiring: The Writing Center is looking for students interested in working as student tutors during the fall and spring semesters. Student tutors work one-on-one with their peers to help them improve specific writing projects and strengthen their overall writing abilities. Tutoring is a great experience that pays well and looks good on your resume. Come by the Writing Center for more information.
