Any accident or acute life-threatening illness occurring during office hours, including evenings MUST be reported to the Student Health Services.  Student Health Services may be consulted at anytime to participate in the decision to refer medical treatment outside of Student Health Services.  A member of the professional staff will be available to participate in this decision.  All reasonable efforts for a member of the professional staff to respond to life threatening emergencies will be made.
FOR LIFE-THREATENING EMERGENCIES:
CALL AN EMS AMBULANCE FIRST AT 911,
THEN IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES and CAMPUS POLICE
FOR NON LIFE-THREATENING EMERGENCIES AND
NON-EMERGENCIES
¬† Student Health Services may be called for a recommendation with regard to management of the emergency.¬† The professional staff will be available to participate in the decision as to the proper location for treatment, i.e., whether care should be rendered at the Student Health Services, an off-campus physician'Äôs office or an emergency room.¬†
