Student Success Academy (SSA) is an intervention program for new first-time freshmen who are enrolled in Math 990, Math 1030i, Reading, and English 990 that is designed to promote student academic success by providing an academic contract with proven strategies to help increase academic performance.
Students in SSA will meet at least once a month with their Freshman Seminar instructor. The date of the meeting is scheduled between the student and their Freshman Seminar instructor.

- Why do need students need to participate in SSA?
Students need to participate in SSA because they will be provided all of the resources needed to promote academic success. Students receive free tutoring, mentoring by a dedicated faculty, free workshops that provide proven strategies that lead to increased academic performance.
