The Reading Resource Center’s mission is to provide reading skills by teaching and tutoring utilizing research-based reading strategies in all content areas. The Reading Resource Center provides a safe, non-threatening environment that promotes literacy for all students.
The Reading Resource Center is open to all students to support, collaborate and supplement courses, faculty and instruction by improving literacy.

TARGET COURSES
Xavier University’s Reading Resource Center targets the Developmental Reading courses, RDNG 0992, Reading and Study Skills, and RDNG 0992i (Intensive Developmental Reading). All Xavier students are encouraged to utilize the center to sharpen reading skills and strengthen individual areas of reading weaknesses.
Students enrolled in SSA (Student Success Academy), Deciding majors and students on strict probation are also encouraged to utilize the Reading Resource Center.
