Dr. Lamar Meda, Assistant Professor of Chemistry and PREM Program Director, sets up the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) reactor for the deposition of ruthenium oxide nanomaterials (nanoplates and nanorods).

Dr. Robert Blake, Basic Pharmaceutical Sciences Professor, measures the absorbance of hemoglobin in intact red blood cells by using a novel spectrophotometer that permits accurate absorbance measurements in turbid suspensions.

Dr. Vladimir Kolesnichenko, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, prepares magnetic colloids containing iron nanoparticles under air-free atmosphere.

Dr. Anderson Sunda Meya, Assistant Professor of Physics, uses a standard calibration sample to prepare the Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) to characterize SiGe quantum dots in tapping mode. The nanostructures were formed by self-assembly method in an ultra high vacuum Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) chamber.
