Krista Mincey, MPH, DrPH is an Assistant Professor at Xavier University of Louisiana. She holds a DrPH in Community Health Behavior & Education from Georgia Southern University’s Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health in Statesboro, GA. In addition, she holds a MPH from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savanna, GA and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, GA. Her dissertation Just be a Man About it: The Influence of Masculinity on the Coping Mechanisms of Undergraduate African American Men examined the ideas of manhood in Black men using mixed methods. Her research interests are mental health, Black men’s health, and health disparities. |
