Xavier University of Louisiana

In the fall of 2010, there were 359 XU graduates enrolled in medical, dental, podiatric medicine, veterinary medicine, optometry, podiatric medicine, chiropractic, public health, or health administration programs. For over ten years, Xavier has been a leader nationally in placing African-American students into medical school. And, Xavier continues to do well as evidenced the by fact that 43 Xavier students have already been accepted into medical, dental, etc. school for entry in the fall of 2012.
