Xavier University Campus Reopening

The Xavier University campus will resume normal operations  THURSDAY, January 30, 2014.  Classes will resume at 7:00 a.m. All faculty and staff are expected to report for work.

Please continue to visit the XULA website (www.xula.edu) for any additional official updates and notices as they relate to classes and business operations. You can also call the university’s 24-hour emergency information hotline for weather related updates (1-866-520-9852).

Xavier University Campus Closure

Due to the anticipated inclement winter conditions, which will likely include unsafe, icy conditions, the Xavier University campus will remain closed tomorrow, WEDNESDAY, January 29, 2014.  All classes and events have been cancelled.

Only essential personnel should report to work. Faculty, staff and non-residential students should remain off campus.  Note that all Xavier residence halls remain open, and dining services for residential students remain uninterrupted.

Xavier Monitoring Severe Weather

Xavier University's Crisis Management Team continues to monitor weather conditions in the New Orleans area and will make an announcement regarding campus status for WEDNESDAY at 4:00 p.m. today. Please continue to monitor the University's homepage and check your XULA email as your official source of information.

Xavier University Campus Closure

Due to the anticipated inclement winter conditions, which will likely include sleet, ice, and snow, the Xavier University campus will be closed tomorrow, TUESDAY, January 28, 2014.  All classes and events have been cancelled.  This includes the men’s basketball game between Xavier and Belhaven which has been re-scheduled for February 25, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in the Convocation Center.

Only essential personnel should report to work. Faculty, staff and non-residential students should remain off campus.  Note that all Xavier residence halls will remain open, and dining services for residential students will remain uninterrupted.

Xavier University's Crisis Management Team is monitoring the possibility of severe winter weather in the New Orleans area Tuesday and Wednesday.
