Xavier University Bands are pleased to announce new scholarships available to non-music majors for this academic year (2003). These scholarships are offered to any Xavier student (non-music major) who plays a wind or percussion instrument or a Jazz Band rhythm section instrument (piano, bass and guitar). 

The selection process for awarding these scholarships will include an application followed by a short interview/audition. The awards are $500.00 per semester for performance in Xavier University Wind Symphony or Jazz Band. Double reed instrumentalists (oboe and bassoon), french horn, tuba and bass players are strongly encouraged to apply.
