If you missed the campus kickoff for this year’s United Negro College Fund
(UNCF)
Annual 5K Run/Walk, it’s still not too late! Students, faculty and staff may sign up outside
of the University Center
between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on the following dates:
Thursday, Oct. 01
Friday, Oct. 02
Thursday, Oct. 08
Friday, Oct. 09
Students can also sign up at the Center for Leadership & Service, (504) 520-5133.
Faculty and staff can sign up at the Office of Institutional Advancement,
XU South (6th Floor, Suite 600), from 10:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
The fee is only $5 for XU students and $25 for everyone else –
both include a tee shirt and complimentary Audubon Zoo coupons.
This year’s Run/Walk is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 11, at Audubon Park and Riverview (the FLY)
beginning at 9:00 a.m. Come out and join thousands of walkers and runners in support
of Xavier and Dillard –
with all proceeds being used to support local students.
Enjoy good food at the Xavier Tent, music and dance with DJ Captain Charles.
