VOLLEYBALL IS BACK Erin Vincent, a senior biology/pre-med major from The Woodlands TX (Oak Ridge High), goes up high over the net to spike one against Belhaven College in Xavier’s first intercollegiate volleyball game in five years. INNOVATIVE TEACHING Dr. Augustine Aruna, XU professor of clinical pharmacy & adjunct associate professor of medicine, demonstrates critical thinking in his pharmaceutical care clinical teaching of medical residents, interns, students and pharmacy students at Tulane University Hospital & Clinic. He uses an innovative method whereby he starts with any ONE drug and shows how it is related or can be connected to all drugs in its pharmacological class as well as most or all other classes of drugs, all disease states, all courses and other aspects of pharmacy and medicine.
