ENDOWMENT Xavier's endowment and its efforts to recruit and keep quality faculty got a boost when the Louisiana Board of Regents’ Louisiana Education Quality Support Fund awarded the University $680,000 in matching funds for a new endowed chair and seven professorships. On hand with President Norman Francis for the event was Gregory Rattler, Sr., a senior vice-president with J.P Morgan Chase Bank, whose company's gift helped establish the Business Solutions to Urban Problems professorship. |
