HIGH RISE
Steel girders begin to form the undeniable shape of an arena seating area as the University's new Convocation Academic Center emerges across the Washington Avenue Canal from the main campus. When completed in late 2012, the facility will include a 4,500-seat arena suitable for athletic and other large-scale events.

YEARS OF SERVICE
Long-time Xavier employees (L-R) Willie Caffey, Jr. (biology), Eloise Dixon (counseling), Dr. Warren Ray (chemistry), and Sherida Montague (chemistry) are all smiles at the Annual Founder’s Day Convocation, where they were recognized for their various years of service. In all 55 faculty and staff members were honored.

HAITI VISIT
A XU delegation paid a return visit to Haiti to meet with officials from the University of Notre Dame d'Haiti (UNDH) to flesh out ideas for proposed collaborations between the two universities.
