PHARMACY OUTREACH
Xavier’s 6th Health Disparities Conference attracted a host of national/local key opinion leaders, including: (seated, L-R) Dr. Nadine Gracia, Dr. Norman Francis, Dr. John Ruffin, Dr. Karen DeSalvo, Dr. Walter Kimbrough, and Charlotte Parent; (standing) Kermit Payne, Dr. Daniel Sarpong, Dr. George Hill, Dr. Kathleen Kennedy, Dr. John Wilson, and Dr. Phyllis Dawkins. The conference attracted more than 300 attendees and nearly 200 presentations from across the country.

ON SITE HAITI VISIT
A Xavier delegation meets in Haiti with the Archbishop of Port-au-Prince and the President of the Universite Notre Dame d’Haiti to flesh out ideas for a proposed collaboration between the two schools that could involve student and professor exchanges as well as the creation of a pharmacy school and an expanded teacher certification program on the island nation. On hand for the discussions are (L-R) Dr. Wendy Gaudin, Archbishop Guire Poulard, Dr. Kathleen Kennedy, Msgr. Pierre-Andre Pierre, and Dr. Rosalind Hale.
