In addition to print resources, you have access to a large array of electronic resources. After opening the library’s web page you will have access to over seventy on-line databases <http://www.xula.edu/library/onlineresources> including Academic Search Complete, JSTOR, Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe, MLA International Bibliography, Science Direct, and ProQuest Direct. These, and the rest of the online databases, give access to over 22,000 full-text electronic journal titles.
Students, faculty and staff members may even login to these databases from *anywhere* off campus by using their Xavier e-mail user name (everything *left* of the @xula.edu) and e-mail password. If you need assistance in searching the various databases or locating full-text electronic journals use the “Ask A Reference Librarian” form or the librarians at reference desk (504-520-7305) will be happy to assist you.
