The Government Documents Department is located on the 2nd floor of the library at the top of the stairs or if you take the elevator the documents desk is located to your left after exiting the elevator. The depository provides to Xavier University, the community of the 2nd Congressional District of Louisiana and all U.S. residents, free and easy access to information published by the Federal Government, and the government of the State of Louisiana. The depository is open and accessible during regular library hours, while the service desk hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
