Microforms/periodicals services are located on the second floor of the Xavier University Library. The microforms room is 200E in the rear of the area. The collection consists of newspaper, journals, special collections and ERIC documents in microfilm and microfiche format. The ERIC collection of microfiche includes documents from 1968 to the present.

Microform readers and printers are available for patrons. Copies are five cents each. Currently the printers take nickels only.

Also located in the microforms area is the newspaper room, which houses paper copies of the newspapers and several journals received by the library. Current issues of the newspapers are located on the 1st floor in the display area.
