The Continuing Resources department mission is to acquire, manage, and provide timely and accurate access of materials to the Xavier University
Library serials collections in all formats. The Serial department is responsible for cataloging and processing periodicals in all languages, formats
and subject areas, including print, micro formats, and electronic formats. Along with these responsibilities, the Serial department staff
also collect and bind periodical volumes through the year, and data entry for serial holdings. The serials unit centrally manages, either directly
or indirectly, all aspects of serials at Xavier University Library.

• Law and loose-leaf publications
• Monographic series
• Music series
• Reference materials, abstracts, indexes
