Steve Prince

Steve Prince received his BFA from Xavier University of Louisiana and subsequently earned his MFA in Printmaking and Sculpture from Michigan State University. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Hampton University in the Fine and Performing Arts Program. He has conducted several workshops for the Art League, Hampton University Museum, the Ann Arbor Art Association, Michigan State University, and Xavier University of Louisiana. Steve has shown in both solo and group exhibitions and was the "Best of Show" winner of the New Waves 2001 National Juried exhibition at the Contemporary Art Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia, as well as the 1999 Certificate of Merit recipient for Outstanding Artist from the Mayor of New Orleans.
