Where is this building located?
Finding your way around anywhere in New Orleans can be confusing. There are three recently completed construction projects, and a new Campus Map shows the general relationship between the Main Campus and Xavier South. Also the Art Department has created a special map for the Art Village. Also the Admissions Department has a page for visiting New Orleans or Xavier University. A common site used for directions is Mapquest.

Where is this office located?
A Campus Directory has been issued with many Office Phone Numbers and Addresses, and it can be a useful tool for finding an office location. Also use of the maps above are helpful if you know the complete name. If you only have a partial name, you may try the XULA-Site Map . The University Switch Board may be your last resort.

Where is this class taught?
Finding where a class is taught is easy if you know your class number and Academic Department Home Page. The Spring 2005 Class Schedule may help you get the exact information on the class you are looking for. For best results, contact the Department directly by phone or e-mail during business hours.

Where is the webpage I am looking for?
Finding a webpage on Xavier is easy if you use our Site Map .

Where is my friend?
Xavier's standard practice is to respect the privacy of our students and not give out personal information such as dorm rooms, phone numbers, cell numbers, or Instant Messaging Information. See your dorm director for details.

Where should I park?
Parking at Xavier is managed by Campus Police and the Office of Facility Planning and Management. Facilty Planning sent posted a Campus Notice on 9/5/02 you may find valuable in answering this question, and the Campus Map (while not very recent) may provide some assistance. Also you can call University Police to find out about Parking Permits at 520-7490.

Where is an ATM?
There is a Bank One ATM located on the first floor of the Library, the first floor of the University Center, and in Xavier South by the Pizza Hut on the first floor. Fees may apply. Also the Xavier Credit Union (not an official Xavier entity) is on the fourth floor of Xavier South.

Where is the Site Map?
A Site Map is available from every page using the official web template at the top of the page in the utility bar. It contains lists of links to all available pages on XULA, a search engine, and other online university resources. The old QuickSearch page still contains some valuable resources for finding names and searching the site.

We are located in the beautiful city of New Orleans, Louisiana - home to the Essence Festival, JazzFest, and Mardi Gras. A city with a long tradition of African American culture, and a school with a legacy of excellence.
