International Affairs

Many of our students with a concentration in international affairs, attend graduate schools. Some do so with funding from a Pickering Fellowship or via the International Institute of Public Policy, or, more recently, the Charles B. Rangel Fellowship program. To give an indication of the variety of areas our graduates enter, here are three examples: 1) One of our 2001 graduates, is pursuing a Ph.D. in Political Science, with a focus on women in international development.; 2) Another graduate (2002), completed a Master’s degree in May 2004 and serves the State Department as a foreign service officer. She began her overseas post in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in February 2005; 3) A third political science graduate completed study at the University of Michigan and has joined the international private sector, employed by one of the powerhouses of international business.
