The Center for Urban and Regional Equity, in cooperation with Xavier University, presented a Forum on Our Future - The State of African-American Businesses in New Orleans: Strategies for Sustained Growth on March 17, 2003.

The host for the program was Liberty Bank and Trust as part of its Endowment Program and featured Mayor C. Ray Nagin; Ron Forman Chairman, Regional Chamber; Roy Alston, Center for Urban and Regional Equity, In cooperation with Xavier University; and moderated by Liberty Bank President and CEO Alden J. McDonald, Jr.
