Joseph M. LaRochelle received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology from Saint Anselm College and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. He completed a one year Pharmacy Practice Residency at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC and a Pediatric Specialty Residency at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and the University of Maryland Medical System Hospital for Children.
He is a licensed pharmacist in Louisiana, Maryland, and Washington, DC. He is involved with many professional organizations including the American Society of Health System Pharmacy, the Phi Delta Chi Professional Fraternity and the Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group. He is certified in both Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Adult Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at Xavier University of Louisiana College of Pharmacy and a Pediatric Critical Care Clinical Specialist in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Children’s Hospital of New Orleans.
Dr. LaRochelle holds a faculty position at the Louisiana State University Health Science Center School of Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. |
