Dr. Shannon Bagnet-Finley is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Clinical & Administrative Sciences and an Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacist at The Multipractice Clinic of Independence, Louisiana. Her clinic duties include assisting patients with managing their diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and thyroid disorders. At this site, Dr. Bagnet-Finley also proctors fourth year pharmacy students and pharmacy residents requiring ambulatory care experiences
Dr. Finley earned her degree at the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2006 and completed a Pharmacy Practice residency at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, La.
In her current role as a professor at Xavier University, Dr. Bagnet-Finley currently teaches in the Disease State Management II course where she also serves as the case studies course coordination. She also teaches in the Disease State Management III course. In the near future, Dr. Finley hopes to assist with the implementation of a Self-Care Therapeutics course into Xavier's pharmacy curriculum. |
