Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC)

The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee is appointed by the institutional official to oversee and evaluate the institution’s animal program, procedures and facilities and to ensure that they are consistent with Animal Welfare Regulations and Public Health Service Policies. The committee at Xavier University meets once per month to review protocols and inspects Xavier‘s facilities twice per year.
