BIOGRAPHY
Wendy Hajjar, Ph.D., is Visiting Associate Professor at both Tulane and Xavier Universities in New Orleans teaching courses in Communication, Film and Media Studies. She earned a Ph.D. from Purdue University in 1993, a M.A. from The University of Maine in 1985 and a BA from University of Maine in 1983. She is interested in all types of narratives. Her expertise is in qualitative and critical studies of film, popular culture, culture and communication, ethnic and gender studies. She is currently publishing research on HBO's Treme.
