The Louisiana Board of Regents RC/EEP Program provides funds to enhance the technically trained workforce in Louisiana.  To that end, students who are majoring in chemistry or chemical engineering are eligible to participate in paid undergraduate research projects with a faculty member in the chemistry department.  Students with a gpa of 2.5 or greater can earn $11 per hour for up to 15 hours per week during the academic year and fulltime for eight weeks in the summer.
