Short Professional Biography

Subramanya R. K. Pingali received a B.S. and M.S. from Sri Satya Sai University, India in 2002 and 2004 respectively. He earned his PhD in Organic Chemistry from University of New Orleans, LA in 2011. Dr. Pingali has worked as an Instructor in the Department of Chemistry at Vivekavardhini Degree College, India and a Research Associate at Aurigene Discovery Technologies Ltd, Bangalore, India. He joined Xavier University of Louisiana as a Research Associate in the laboratory of Dr. Payton-Stewart in 2011, where he worked towards the synthesis of novel anti cancer drugs. Dr. Pingali currently holds a position as Lecturer in the department of chemistry.

Research Interest

Design, synthesis, characterization, and biological screening of novel anti-cancer agents.
