Dr. Privett earned a B.S. in chemistry from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1984. She began graduate school at the University of Arizona and then transferred to the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Arkansas in 1989 and immediately began her career at Xavier. She has been involved in the Summer Science Academy since 1990. She has directed the Biomedical Scholar Summer Program since 1991. Dr. Privett has also served as the coordinator of the General Chemistry lectures and drills since 1991. |
