Christian Drama

Meets Monday nights in the University Chapel at 6pm. Lead by Mr. Dwight Fitch, the Christian Drama team performs a play each semester for the Xavier community as its way of communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Any Xavier student with an interest should contact Mr. Fitch at 504.520.7593.

Spirit Praise

Meets Tuesdays at various locations on campus at 4pm. each Tuesday afternoon, students gather to be lead in workshop by other students and special guest ministers as they explore Sacred Scripture, pray together and offer praise. Gospel Choir

Meets Thursdays in the University Chapel at 6pm. The Gospel Choir ministers to the heart and spirit of the Xavier community at Sunday masses and special liturgies. The Choir also accepts a limited number of invitations to minister in song at local churches, festivals, and celebrations. Membership is open to any Xavier student. Liturgical Dance Group

Meets Fridays in the University Chapel at 2pm. Through the movement of the body, the Liturgical Dance Group worships God and celebrates with the Xavier community as special liturgies throughout the year. Anyone is welcomed to join after consulting with the director, Ms. Judy Legier at 504.520.7593.

RCIA/Catholic Update

Meets Sundays in Room 102 in the Administration Building at 11am. The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (or RCIA) welcomes those who want to learn about the Catholic faith in order to become Catholic and those who want to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ. Catholics and Protestants are invited to the group to study Sacred Scripture, Church doctrine, and share faith experiences. We provide a supportive community for those with questions about their faith wherever they might be along their spiritual journey. This program is open to anyone in the Xavier community.
