Career Advancement Center
The Career Advancement Center (CAC) is a collaboration of the Offices of Career Services and Graduate Placement, and the Center for Intercultural and International Programs. This collaboration provides the opportunity to share resources and expertise in order to better assist Xavier students with their transition into graduate/professional school and/or the workforce. It is our mission to make certain that all students who take advantage of CAC services possess the ability to transition from college to a career.
This website provides you with valuable career and post-graduate resources. Users will find tips on preparing for graduate school, formatting a resume, communicating the right message during an interview, and other useful insights that make up the career planning process. We have worked diligently to provide these resources in an electronic format; however, we appreciate the value of face-to-face interactions. After gathering information from this site, we warmly invite you to visit our offices located on the 3rd floor of the St. Joseph’s Academic and Health Resource Center (Rooms 302, 306, and 312). Our dedicated staff members are waiting to assist you!
Although our ultimate goal focuses on your post-graduate experiences, the journey begins today! We stress the importance of experiencing research opportunities, internships, and/or studying abroad during your matriculation at Xavier. The Career Advancement Center is here to help all Xavier students shape their career plan beginning in the freshman year.
Our staff is ready to assist you in developing you comprehensive career plan. Do not hesitate to stop into our offices!!
