According to the global results of the 2006 and 2007 Talent Shortage Survey conducted by Manpower Incorporated, sales representatives rate as the number one area that employers worldwide are having difficulty filling positions due to the lack of suitable talent available in their markets. These results are based on surveys of more than 30,000 employers in over 20 countries and territories across the globe.
SLI is the programmatic arm of the Sales and Marketing program at Xavier University of Louisiana. SLI will help fill the talent shortage cited above through activities designed to increase organizational sales capacity and support the Sales and Marketing curriculum to provide performance ready talent to the global market place.
